Courtney Loi (she/her) is an editor and writer based in Los Angeles, CA. She is currently working as a freelance editor for clients like Familius, editing highly-anticipated releases such as Making It Up by Chris Mannino. She was previously an Editorial Assistant at Penguin Random House working on the popular Who Was? series, and before that she was an intern at the kids’ division of ABRAMS Books. She believes that readers of all backgrounds deserve access to books that not only act as mirrors that reflect their own feelings, thoughts, and experiences, but also act as windows to help them understand the world around them. She especially loves books that emphasize the power of friendship and the importance of community. When she’s not working or uploading content to her children’s book TikTok, @cloverisreading, she’s listening to jazz playlists on Spotify or trying new recipes in the kitchen.
